The cost of living has risen in the North of Cyprus with prices rising 1.1 % . The biggest price increases ( 3.1 % ) has been in the food and drink industries. Statistics released show a total increase of 4.3% more than when comparing the identical period this time last year. Transport, recreation and cultural businesses have also seen rises.
